Former Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano was sentenced this morning to 24 months in prison, Jersey Journal staffer Michaelangelo Conte reports from the federal courthouse in Newark.
Cammarano pleaded guilty in April to taking $25,000 from federal informant Solomon Dwek.
Did he really thing that no one would find out? A few days before he was arrested he made a big speech about how corruption wouldn't be tolerated after another city official was busted.

Good! He deserved to be sentenced for 20 years. We don't need that kind of corruption in our government!
I agree, 2 years isn't a long enough sentence.
